Yes, I really did make a personalized chicken coop Christmas ornament.  If you look at the other ornaments in my shop I make personalized birdhouse and dog house ornaments too. A past customer asked me if I would make a chicken coop.  First thing I thought of is where am I going to find little chickens?  Not surprising, there's not much of a market for miniature chickens.  So, I designed one out of polymer clay.  The rest is history.  
 
The ornament is hand cut out of basswood.  The coop is painted off-white.  The windows and door are trimmed in dark green.  The windows are brown with straw glued to the bottom of the sills.  The chickens are polymer clay.  Three are sitting glued onto Spanish moss nests. The roof is made out of rusted metal.  The picket fence is wire wrapped wood, and there is a decorative hanger stapled to the top.

The ornament is pictured with yellow chickens, but I have white, red, and mixed red/brown color for chickens.  I can do all one color of a combo of the colors I have in stock.
